Newsflash
| It's broken arm was not set right |
|
I just finished constructing the second link of the arm (moving part) of the Senster, and after it checked out OK against the pictures taken in Colijnsplaat I decided to compare it to the old pictures from the Evoluon.
Guess what? It appears the second link has been mounted upside-down when the carcass was eredten in Colijnsplaat. I turned the part in the model of course, and hope that the 3D model will look less crestfallen than its fossil in Colijnsplaat.
I wrote before that I do all the modelling in Google Sketchup. Now I've found a good (free!) photorealistic renderer that beautifies the Sketchup model like a dream: Kerkythea (www.kerkythea.net) . Have look for yourself:
